Tasked with using assets provided by Nickelodeon to create new IDs for the Kids Choice Awards 2020 Campaign. Involving working with professional-grade assets. Focusing on various compositing techniques as well as fabricating some custom assets or animations.

Final Animation
Process
Apart from the provided assets, I had the opportunity to create a few custom animations for this piece. Including faux extrusion depth on 2D assets, Nickelodeon blimp movement, and the end Nick logo animation.
Additional Animations
Faux Extrusions
This effect was achieved using a combination of effects and expressions based on this great tutorial by Jake In Motion. Then using further expressions to counteract the position of the letter to the extrusion. Appearing as if the letter extrudes outward instead of backward.
Logo Animation
As part of the requirements to animate the Nick logo in 3D, the letters were first animated in Cinema4D. Then using a simple toon shader to retain the overall 2D design look. The purple frame was animated along with the logo render using points to nulls in After Effects.
Compositing Process
Hand Replacement
This process aimed to make the physical blimp appear as if flew out of the person's hand. Pieces of the isolated blimp and hand were used from seperate footage. Then layered back together Nuke along with the blimp I animated in After Effects. Making sure to match arm movement, color, motion blur, and recreating contact shadows.
