Seasonal Cycle
Challenge
Tasked with creating a themed animation to be composited onto live footage on a non-digital frame. Inspired by scenery I have seen while spending many summers on Cape Cod. Focusing on the liveliness versus stillness of different seasons. This was my initial introduction to using Nuke for compositing.

Breakdown
The compositing aspects of this project focused on learning corner pin tracking, matching camera lens distortion, matching black and white levels of the animation to the footage, adding back in blur to match the focus plane, and adding reflections on the card back in.
Plant Rigging
To save time on plant animation, a mix of points to nulls and puppet pins to nulls was used. Attaching puppet pin points to a corresponding null with expressions. Then a Wiggle expression to wave back and forth on the bottom null. Finally, ValueAtTime expressions were then used to overlap & delay the rest of the nulls.
