Process

Usually when I make stop motion projects, I often do a fair bit of post work as well. Rotoscoping the character back into the background plate whenever he appears in the air or painting out the rig I used to hold the character up. As well as painting out some frames where the sticky tack was visible  that I used to stick the character to the floor. Then added back in any missing shadows that where taken out from rotoscoping. The Lightsaber effect was created using Video Copilots "Saber" Plugin. This ended up with each frame of animation having at least 2-5 layers that made up the whole frame.
